Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure: ask for our list of optional tours. Mid afternoon: You will take a very special tour: Arenal Volcano hike and dinner at Tabacon Hot Springs. Enjoy the most extraordinary view of the Arenal Volcano on a gentle Hike along the base of this marvelous “Mountain of Fire”. The Hike begins on the active side of the volcano that takes you through the forest over recent lava flows and to the destroyed area now in the process of regeneration. Then later on our guide will take you to Tabacon Hot Springs where you can enjoy a healthy and relaxing soak, also possible to see the Arenal Volcano erupting from this comfortable spa. Our naturalist guides will explain the history and geography of the area as well as help you get the most of your visit, pointing out sloths, monkeys, iguanas, and a multitude of insects and birds.
